Connection to www.zuugle.at (Bahn zum Berg)
The name "Zuugle Services" was deliberately chosen and shows our roots as well as our deep connection to the idea of www.zuugle.at/de/si/it/ch/li/fr, the search engine for public transport tours in the Alpine region. The founders of Zuugle Services GmbH, Martin Heppner and Dietmar Trummer, have consistently developed the concepts they worked on for years for www.zuugle.at/de/si/it/ch/li/fr (operated by the NGO "Bahn zum Berg").
This commitment led to the establishment of Zuugle Services GmbH as an independent company in order to generalize, professionalize, and offer the technology behind tour planning as a smart solution for businesses.
Legally, Zuugle Services GmbH and the "Bahn zum Berg" association (operator of www.zuugle.at/de/si/it/ch/li/fr) are completely independent of each other. As an NGO, the "Bahn zum Berg" association focuses exclusively on promoting sustainable travel to outdoor activities. Even though both organizations cooperate – for example, our product Diana GreenConnect is used on the public transport tour portal www.bahn-zum-berg.at/de/it/ch – the sole and full control over www.zuugle.at/de/si/it/ch/li/fr lies exclusively with the NGO Bahn zum Berg.
