1. Logging

This section describes the data processing that occurs when you visit our company website.

a) Server-Log Files
Each time you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits and stores it in what are known as server log files. This includes:

  • Browser type and browser version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

  • Hostname of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

  • IP address

This data is used exclusively to ensure the smooth operation and security of our systems (e.g., to defend against attempted attacks). It is not merged with other data sources, and we cannot use it to draw any direct conclusions as to your identity. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

b) Contacting us
If you contact us by email or via a contact form on our website, the data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

c) Tracking and Cookies
On our website, https://zuugle-services.com, we do not use any tools to analyse visitor behaviour or for tracking. We also do not use cookies.

2. Service "Diana GreenConnect"

This section describes the data processing for our 'Diana GreenConnect' product, which is integrated into the websites of our customers (website operators).

a) Principles of our Widget
We do not create user profiles and do not track user behaviour.

b) Data Processing for Journey Planner Queries
What data? The start and destination addresses or stop names entered by the user.
Purpose of processing: This information is used exclusively to calculate possible public transport connections and to display the corresponding timetables. The data is not permanently stored by us after the calculation or used for other purposes. It is not possible to identify individual persons from this data.

c) Optional Storage of the Starting Point (Local Storage)
How it works: Website operators can activate an optional feature where the last entered starting point is saved in the user's browser "Local Storage".
Benefit: This is for the user's convenience so that they do not have to re-enter their starting point repeatedly.
Data transmission: This information is transmitted to our servers to be able to calculate the timetables. Users can delete this data at any time by clearing their browser cache.

d) Anonymised Counting of Queries for Billing
What data? We log the total anonymous number of widget views per website.
Purpose of processing: This aggregated count data serves as the basis for billing our business customers (the website operators). It contains no personally identifiable information.
Retention: We retain billing data in accordance with the statutory retention periods in Austria and the EU.

e) Data Hosting and Server Locations
For the operation of the widget, we use the technical infrastructure of Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany).
Journey planner queries within the EU: Data is processed on servers within the EU. Journey planner queries in Asia: To speed up queries from Asia, calculation data is processed on servers in Singapore and in the EU. Through appropriate contractual agreements, we ensure that an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed even when processing takes place outside the EU.
