From Hobby to a Mission
It all started with a simple, personal challenge: we wanted to plan our mountain hikes sustainably and without a car, but finding the right public transport connections was frustrating and complicated.
This need led to the founding of the non-profit initiative ‘Bahn zum Berg’. What began as a hobby project to create a solution for ourselves quickly evolved into one of Austria’s most important portals for environmentally friendly mobility.
We realised that our approach – considering the entire journey from door to door – wasn’t just relevant for hikers. Hotels, event organisers and tourism regions face the exact same challenge. And so, Zuugle Services was born: the logical evolution of our proven technology into a professional, smart solution for businesses that want to actively shape this transition.
